It is recommended these doors be finished with a clear finish system. * To Stain the doors, use the following procedure:

1. Sand lightly with fine sandpaper and clean thoroughly.
2. Apply a coat of clear sanding sealer or wood sealer, additional coats may be necessary, as the wood must be completely sealed.
3. Sand lightly with fine sandpaper and clean thoroughly.
4. Apply stain, use only stains which are compatible with sealer. Follow manufacturers recommendations as to wiping.
5. Apply top or protective finish coats. Use only those coatings compatible with sealer and stain.

**IMPORTANT – STAINS APPLIED IN THIS MANNER WILL NOT ACHIEVE COLORS OBTAINED ON UNSEALED WOOD. IF COLOR MATCH WITH JAMBS AND TRIM IS NECESSARY, THESE PIECES SHOULD BE RESEALED ALSO
