It is recommended these doors be finished with a clear finish system. * To Stain the
doors, use the following procedure:
- Sand lightly with fine sandpaper and clean thoroughly.
- Apply a coat of clear sanding sealer or wood sealer, additional coats may be
necessary, as the wood must be completely sealed.
- Sand lightly with fine sandpaper and clean thoroughly.
- Apply stain, use only stains which are compatible with sealer. Follow
manufacturers recommendations as to wiping.
- Apply top or protective finish coats. Use only those coatings compatible with
sealer and stain.

**IMPORTANT - STAINS APPLIED IN THIS MANNER WILL NOT ACHIEVE COLORS OBTAINED ON UNSEALED
WOOD. IF COLOR MATCH WITH JAMBS AND TRIM IS NECESSARY, THESE PIECES SHOULD BE RESEALED ALSO
